The short version: Quack Heroes is a free-to-play idle game. Play it, enjoy it, and don't cheat, exploit or resell it. In-game currency and items have no real money value. Purchases go through Google Play. We keep a backup of your progress on our server, but keep your Google account safe — it is how you get your progress back.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Rakumaro Game Studio ("we", "us") covering the Quack Heroes mobile game and its online services ("the game"). By installing or playing the game you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not install or play it. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must accept these Terms for you.
Your privacy is covered by our Privacy Policy.
2. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play the game on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment.
3. Your account
- You sign in with a Google account, or play as a guest if sign-in is unavailable. You are responsible for the Google account you use and for activity under it.
- One account may be active on one device at a time; signing in on a new device signs the old one out.
- A guest account is tied to its installation. If you uninstall the game or clear its data before linking a Google account, you may not be able to recover it.
- Accounts may not be sold, traded or shared.
4. Fair play
You may not:
- modify the game, its save data, its memory or its network traffic to gain an advantage, or use bots, macros, emulator scripts or other automation to play for you;
- exploit bugs instead of reporting them, or abuse refunds, gift codes or purchases;
- reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the game, except where the law does not allow this to be restricted;
- attack, overload or try to gain unauthorised access to our servers;
- choose a nickname that is offensive, impersonates someone or infringes their rights;
- sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the game or any part of it, including its art, audio or data;
- use the game for anything unlawful.
If we reasonably believe you have broken these rules we may reset or remove affected progress or items, restrict online features (such as mail or gift codes), or suspend or close the account. You can contact us if you think we made a mistake.
5. Your saved game
The game keeps your progress on your device and, when online, uploads a backup to our server so you can restore it after signing in on another device. We work to keep that backup safe, but we do not guarantee it: progress made while offline is only backed up once you reconnect, and data can be lost through circumstances outside our control. Deleting your account permanently deletes the server backup.
6. Virtual currency and items
The game contains virtual currencies (such as gold and gems), virtual items, companions, and progress such as stages and levels. These:
- have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged or refunded for real money, goods or anything of value outside the game, except where the law requires;
- are licensed to you for use inside the game and are not your property;
- may be consumed by game features you choose to use;
- may be rebalanced, changed or discontinued in future versions.
Some items are awarded at random (for example summons). The possible outcomes and their odds are shown in the game before you spend anything on them.
7. Purchases
Real-money purchases are processed by Google Play, and Google's payment terms and refund policy apply to them. Purchased virtual items are delivered to your account once Google confirms the payment. If a purchase is refunded or charged back, we may remove what it granted. Nothing in these Terms limits any refund or withdrawal right you have under the consumer law of your country. If something you paid for did not arrive, contact us with your Google Play order ID.
8. Online features and availability
The core game plays without an internet connection. Online features — account, cloud backup, mail, gift codes and notifications — depend on our servers and may be unavailable at times. We may update, change or discontinue the game or any feature. If we ever shut down the online services we will try to give reasonable notice in the game.
9. Intellectual property
The game, including its code, design, characters and original artwork, is owned by us and protected by copyright. The game also uses third-party assets under their own licences, credited in Settings → Credits; those remain the property of their creators.
10. No warranty
The game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of defects.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of data, progress or virtual items, arising from your use of the game. Where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
12. Ending this agreement
You can stop at any time by uninstalling the game, and you can delete your account. We may end these Terms or close your account if you materially breach them. Sections 6, 9, 10, 11 and 13 survive termination.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Disputes will be subject to the courts of Indonesia, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings where you live.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The "last updated" date above always shows the current version, and for material changes we will also tell you in the game. Continuing to play after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
